My name is Aaron Lisle and I have an opinion on the police department that may offend some people and I apologize for that. I’m aware of certain procedures that they have for hiring. I have smoked pot before, but that doesn’t make me a pot head. I feel like it is rediculous for them to have a 2 year waiting period when some of their police officers participate in various immoral activities. I’m not a crook, pot head, junkie, or anything similar. I’ve had a dream of working in law enforcement since I was 5. All I’ve ever wanted to do is work in law enforcement. I would be the best deputy that I could be. My Father, Keith Hamilton, works as a Deputy at the MCSD jail. I just want to work with him and learn from him, but it takes so long to get on down there and with the state our economy is in right now I can’t find a decent job to hold me over. I tried to enlist in the police academy recently and I couldn’t get funding, because I can’t afford it on my own. Sure, they have “hope” but the kind they have is very limited. I’ve tried everything and I’m about ready to give up on the dream I’ve had for so long. If anybody can help PLEASE write me on myspace.
